On may,2014,Tencent launched a project called “Weixin Xiaodian”,which means Wechat small store.It allows to register micro and small retailers to open online stores on Wechat.It seems a good news for the users that they can enjoy the service it provided.However, behind the glossy surface, there seems to be more serious problems.

Although Wechat has connected to the second largest online retailer JD, the payment service is not accepted by everyone.Sone people said they have no reason to turn to Wechat as they can find the goods they want to buy on established companies such as Taobao, JD and VIP shop.And they maintain that the third-part payment system of Alibaba is more reliable.For most people, Wechat is just regarded as an instant message application rather than a shopping platform.
