The Dragon Boat Festival
The Dragon Boat Festival is a lunar holiday,occurring on the Fifth of the Fifth lunar month.It is a significant Chinese holiday,and the one with the longest history.This festival is used to memorialize the death of a famous Chinese poet called Quyuan.He is famous for his hang healthy herbs on the front door to clear the bad luck of the house. Although the significance of the festival might be different with the past, it still gives the observer an opportunity to glimpse a part of the rich Chinese cultural heritage.
